Innovations in Frozen Pizza Have Moms Throwing Away Their Pizza Slicers and Take-Out Menus

The Makers of FRESCHETTA PIZZAMORÉ® Pizza Introduce its NEW Pre-Sliced, Restaurant-Style Pizza and Stuffed Breadsticks with a Revolutionary Bake and Serve Tray

MINNEAPOLIS, MN, Oct. 2, 2007 - The dynamics of family dinner have changed with the increasingly busy schedules of moms and kids. Although 80% of families still make time to eat together, scratch dinners prepared at home account for only 32% of all evening meals.

For the mom who doesn't have time to make a meal from scratch, the makers of FRESCHETTA PIZZAMORÉ® products are introducing new ready-made PizzAmoré restaurant-style pizza and stuffed breadsticks without the hassle of take-out.

FRESCHETTA PIZZAMORÉ® products transform your kitchen into your favorite pizzeria. The secret is the revolutionary one-step bake and serve tray. This innovative tray is designed to bake the pizza perfectly every time, cooking the crust crisp and even, from the center of the pizza to the edge of every slice.

Plus, the FRESCHETTA PIZZAMORÉ® pizza is pre-sliced and covered with generous amounts of large-cut toppings and all-natural cheeses that complete the take-out pizza experience. Since each pizza is baked and served on a disposable tray, there is minimal oven mess and no pizza cutter to clean - truly giving moms the night off from cooking and more time with their families.

The FRESCHETTA PIZZAMORÉ® pizza is available in Large and Medium sizes. The 13-inch comes in four varieties, including Pepperoni Duo, 6-Cheese, 10-Topping Supreme, Meat Medley. The Medium 11-inch varieties include 6-Cheese, Pepperoni Duo, 10-Topping Supreme and Meat Medley.

The new FRESCHETTA PIZZAMORÉ® pizza line-up also includes Stuffed Breadsticks making the PizzAmoré experience a complete meal. Both varieties come on their own exclusive bake and serve tray. The Garlic Stuffed Breadsticks are filled with savory marinara and topped with garlic and Italian seasonings that make a perfect appetizer or side dish. Cinnamon Stuffed Breadsticks are filled with vanilla cream cheese and make a delicious after dinner treat to round out the take-out experience at home.

"FRESCHETTA PIZZAMORÉ® products offer families a take-out experience without leaving their homes", said A.J. Aumock, FRESCHETTA® Brand Director. "PizzAmoré products are not only superior-tasting, but a great way to give moms a night off from cooking and cleaning up, thanks to our exclusive bake and serve tray and pre-slicing."

Aumock also added, "Development of this product line is the result of our quest to make lives better for busy moms. The breakthrough came in creating a tray that actually bakes the pizza like take-out. It really is a win-win because moms get the great convenience of take-out quality pizza without the hassle or expense."

The line of FRESCHETTA PIZZAMORÉ® Pizza and Stuffed Breadsticks products will be available October 2007 nationwide in the frozen foods section. The suggested retail price is $6.99 for the Large and $5.49 for the Medium. The Stuffed Breadsticks have a suggested retail price of $2.99.
